I love well made tools, and my new People’s Broadfork did not disappoint. I worked 3 raised beds and tested an area of ground (mostly clay) with great results. I’m Iooking forward to using it in a new 16 x50’ garden area in early spring. It’s easy to use and takes a lot of the hard work out of loosening the ground for planting. There’s something really satisfying about working with it (instead of tilling).
I was able to use my new fork immediately to dig up a new flower bed. The bed is in clay soils with bermuda grass. The fork loosened everything up beautifully and made a previously impossible dig, possible. I also used it in an existing bed before adding more soil on top. I really appreciated the quality of construction as I didn't have to worry about breaking it.
